Cami and cardigan, BP by Nordstrom
Skirt, unknown, altered by me
Shoes, Fiona, from Payless foreverrrr ago

Looking through my previous posts trying to find these shoes really makes me miss all of my shoes I used to have, before I got a puppy. I really need to start redoing my shoe wardrobe. Slowly, but surely, I will have my closet full of lovely pumps and wedges with some cute flats thrown in. :) In the mean time, I will pull out some of those shoes that didn't get chewed up and eaten by said puppy. He is damn lucky he is so cute and cuddly...

March 5th & 6th, 2010

I am starting to work more now, so hopefully you will be seeing more of me and my outfits. :)

Shirt, from Sears, forget the brand
Dress (as skirt), Forever 21
Belt, Forever 21
Tights, Nordstrom
Shoes, Hot Kiss

Here is an up close shot of the tights and the shoes. I desperately needed some new black flats - the ones from Wal-Mart were just not cutting it lately. I picked these up at Famous Footwear for about $30 after tax. They are nice, I just need to break them in (they rub on the ankles).

Overall, I REALLY liked this outfit! I have seen some gals post using a dress as a skirt, and I couldn't figure out how I could pull something like that off.

I forgot to catch a photo of my work outfit for the 6th, but I basically have worn this before here (the first outfit). Only, this time, I wore nude fishnets (Hue), and my new black shoes that I wore on the 5th.

February 6th, 2010

Cami, BP by Nordstrom
Cardigan and bracelets, Forever21
Pants, The Limited
Shoes, Report

It was a good hair day. We also had about 9.5inches of snow fall overnight, so walking to the car, I forgot my boots and ended up soaking my feet. I had to go back into the house, change socks, change into my boots, and grab some towels to dry my work shoes.

I really liked the red shoes with the outfit. :)

Hello, 22!

Sunday was my birthday and it was a pretty good one! Totally something I will always remember, haha. Our party was Saturday night, after a good day with my sister-in-law and her hubs. The theme was Jersey Shore. You can imagine the craziness that happened. :) As you can probably tell, I have a little sass to my wardrobe, but I like to cover up and be decked out in layers. This party called for the complete opposite.

Here is what I wore:
* As a warning, I am dressed like a hoochie-mama. You've been warned!

Dress/shirt thing w chain, Filene's Basement
Dress, DKNY
Necklace and ring, Forever 21
Wedding ring replacement, Nordstorm
Shoes, Newport Bay
Tan, Mystic Tan
Poof, Teasing and lots of hairspray

Everyone dressed up, it was great. The boys went all out - shaved their chests, bought new outfits, and also got spray tans. It was insane!

I don't think I got a picture of us before my actual birthday present - a trip to Cleveland to see Chicago: The Musical. It was FANTASTIC! I had so much fun, and I think Josh had a decent time as well. Not like he would go my himself and watch it, but still enjoyed himself. The dress was really cute, I will need to dress up and take pictures just to show you.

My friend Katie also got my shoes for my birthday which I wore with the black lace dress. I felt really cute! Although, my hose I was going to wear with it ran as soon as I put them on. I was annoyed, but since I had my fresh tan, I went barelegged. This ended up being a mistake, because our car broke down about 40 miles from home in the middle of the night so we had to wait an hour for a tow truck and another 40 minutes to get home. It's okay though, I didn't let it ruin my night! I still had an amazing birthday and spent it with great friends, and a wonderful husband. Even if we have to replace the alternator in the car, it could have been a lot worse.

Here are my gorgeous new shoes! I am in love with them. After wearing them, I discovered they are about a half size too big, but I will just put some Foot Petals in them and it will be fine!

January 17th, 2010

Shirt, skirt and belt, Forever 21
Tights, Spanx
Shoes, Merona

Everyone really seemed to like this outfit. I thought it was cute, but nothing special. I didn't think the purple looked okay with the leopard, but I guess it did! I need to venture more with colors I suppose...

Also, this shoes are now RIP. Schmitty got a hold of the last two pairs of work shoes I have, so I have to go out and spend some moneys today. I don't know how a 20 pound mini-dachshund can open closet doors, but it's ridiculous.

RIP Steven Madden boots and Merona mary-janes, I loved you while I had you.

Oh, happy days!

Minus the headache I had for about three hours, today has been a pretty good day!

About a month ago, I found out that I won a $100 gift card to onlineshoes.com from the lovely Tabitha over at Fashion Therapist. As excited as I was to find that awesome info out, with the move and the wedding, I was unable to check out the site and pick out some new goodies. I finally got around to it this week, and finally, today, decided on these shoes. All Report brand, which was weird, but oh well! They are cute, and look really comfy!

(Tan, Report Bonnie, reg. $114.95, sale for $45.98, photo from onlineshoes.com)
(Red, Report Rheanna, reg. $79.95, sale for $31.98, photo from onlineshoes.com)
(Grey, Report Gracia, reg. $74.95, sale for $29.98, photo from amazon.com)

Since all the shoes were on sale, that is already a $161.91 off of the regular prices. My total for the shoes was $107.94. After my $100 GC, I paid $7.94. For three pairs of shoes. I am a happy woman. I can't wait! Expect a "fashion show" when I get them in the mail!

Another good thing for all my views/readers out there... I am back with my job! Which means I am going to be dressing up again! Which means I am going to be posting and taking pictures again! Yayyy! I start on Saturday, so expect goodies starting then.

PS. Did I mention we got a new puppy two weeks ago when we got back from the wedding. He's adorable. He is a chocolate and tan, long haired, mini-dachshund (although he is the biggest in the litter and is expected to get almost as big as our standard doxie) and will be 10 weeks old on Thursday. His name is Schmitty and a total love bug. I won't lie to you, he is pretty much the cutest thing alive. Be prepared to have your heart melted....

You've got diamonds on your feet!

As most of you know, I posted a couple back about my birthday dress. I got the first one, the all black with the sparkly skirt. It came the other day, and boy is it cuuuute! Anyways, I just tried it one once, I am going to be a foxy girl on my birthday this Saturday!

As a little present to myself, I got these beauties.

They are from Newport News. I think I am in love. With shoes. I wore them around the house. Josh just rolled his eyes when they came in the mail today.

The UPS man knows who I am now. Because I've been getting presents and boxes all week, and I get so excited and start jumping around when I see him. Josh and I were out by the car today when he came, we were on our way to run some errands. When he came around the corner in our complex, I started jumping around and saying "yayyy! Presents!!" and you could see the guy start crackin up in his drivers seat. It was great. It's a toss up on whether that, or actually getting my shoes, was the highlight of my day.

Bleh.

The reason for my lack of posting has been because of my new job. Not because I have been busy, but because I now have a dress code. Ohhh, what a big ol' sad face right there! I have to wear black or khaki pants (solid colors, no pinstripes!) and the tops have to be solid black or white (no logos, no stripes, nada!) It's been hard on my outfits, let me tell you. I always wear color. Anyone that has been folling my blog will know that. The best part of this, is that I can still wear whatever color shoes I want. That being said, when I went to Target the other night to get a new pair of black slacks, because all I own are different colors or pinstripe, I found these suckers on sale for $7-something. But in the TURQUOISE color! Cute, yes? I like em. They are the Sigerson Morrison for Target. They are pretty comfy, but I think if you are interested in them, get them a half size larger than what you wear, they are a little too snug, even after being stretched.

I am going to try and post pictures more, I promise. Another problem is that on my days off, I usually don't have anywhere to go, so I just wear sweats or jeans and a teeshirt.. I'm lazy, whatever! :)

PS. I bought the dress number one on my last blong for my bday. I should be getting it tomorrow in the mail, so you can expect some pictures!

I don't think we're on the same page..

Cami, Forever21

Dress, Frills by Nordstrom
Top, Forever21
Tights, Spanx
Bracelets, Forever21
Necklace, Nadri
Shoes, Charlotte Russe

These are the shoes I was talking about yesterday, the uber-cheap ones that boggled my mind by their comfort. They were a grand total of $6.24 plus tax. I wore them all day at work. I am on my feet all day, and with new heels, no matter the brand, I usually have to change shoes mid-shift. I was amazed. I don't think my other pair that I got are going to be as lucky.

I blame you, Washington.

I have been having this crazy obsession with rain boots lately. I really, really feel like I need a pair. I mean, I live in Washington after, right? It's pretty much a uniform here... right??

Anyways. Now, on to the task of actually picking a pair. Basic black? Nah, let's spice it up a bit. Which do you think?

I must say, I am a huge fan of the zebra (mainly because I'm attracted to anything zebra) however, the houndstooth is mighty cute as well. So. Tell me. Which should I get??

The zebra is from gojane.com for $27.99
The houndstooth is from Target for $24.99
