Saturday the 24th was my 21st birthday!! We celebrated on the 25th, because Josh didn't have to work that night. During the day on my actual birthday, I went to a basketball game with Josh, which was a lot of fun!



I had some great times, it was really a great birthday. Since I just moved a month ago, and just got a job about three weeks ago, it's safe to say I haven't made that many friends yet, so it was just Josh and I. Which wasn't bad, I do love my boy, but I def missed my friends and family.


To add to the frustration of the day, my cell phone decided to stop working. Really, there was no reason for it, it just stopped connecting. Weird stuff. But it started working again this morning, random, huh?!


Some drama went along with my birthday dress that I made a blog about, and we won't go into that. The short story, I couldn't wear it, which made me very sad. So instead, I wore this outfit when we hit the casino to celebrate on the 25th!





We went to Ruidoso, to the casino out there. We hit the bar first, and got a drink. Then we went to loose some money! And that we did. Haha, it wasn't much, I think he ended up spending like $57, all of it birthday money from family. After that, we went to the bar again, and got some more drinks and some food! After that, we hit the arcade and then went home. I passed out in the car. Good 21st birthday? Yes. Yes it was.

Bleh.

The reason for my lack of posting has been because of my new job. Not because I have been busy, but because I now have a dress code. Ohhh, what a big ol' sad face right there! I have to wear black or khaki pants (solid colors, no pinstripes!) and the tops have to be solid black or white (no logos, no stripes, nada!) It's been hard on my outfits, let me tell you. I always wear color. Anyone that has been folling my blog will know that. The best part of this, is that I can still wear whatever color shoes I want. That being said, when I went to Target the other night to get a new pair of black slacks, because all I own are different colors or pinstripe, I found these suckers on sale for $7-something. But in the TURQUOISE color! Cute, yes? I like em. They are the Sigerson Morrison for Target. They are pretty comfy, but I think if you are interested in them, get them a half size larger than what you wear, they are a little too snug, even after being stretched.


I am going to try and post pictures more, I promise. Another problem is that on my days off, I usually don't have anywhere to go, so I just wear sweats or jeans and a teeshirt.. I'm lazy, whatever! :)


PS. I bought the dress number one on my last blong for my bday. I should be getting it tomorrow in the mail, so you can expect some pictures!

My 21st birthday is coming up in a mere 17 days (January 24th, baby!). I don't know what I am going to be doing yet, as I don't know that many people here in Roswell, however! I know I want to look good. I've narrowed down my choices (with the help of my lovely boyfriend) and want some of your wonderful, fabulous, fashionista advice. So, here we are, let me know, one or two?

Personally, I am a fan of number one and the boy is a fan of number two. Leave me a note in the comments and let me know what you think! I am going to buy the winner, since my house is undecided. :)
