Here we go, kids. My first day of not going to work, but my outfit today is pretty similar to yesterdays outfit. Oh well.


It snowed another couple inches overnight, now we're around the 7 or 8inch mark. Josh's plane is supposed to come in tomorrow, but the airport has been canceling flights all day... I really really really really REALLY hope they don't do it with his. I miss my honey. :(

Here we go, kids! Last day of work before the big move. And this little outfit is what I wore!


In the mean time, life has been wild. Throwing all sorts of things at me before the move, but the biggest has got to be the weather. It's been in the 20s all week and snowy. We've got about 6 inches at my house. Normally I LOVE the show. But this week, not so much. It's supposed to get worse this weekend, and I have to pick up Josh from the airport on Sunday. I haven't been able to get out of the driveway the last two days. Thank goodness my daddy has a big ol' SUV and could take me to work! :)

Today we had the beginning of a week (or more) long snow/wind/cold storm. Nothing like the PNW weather, for ya. It's not going to get above 30 degrees the next week. Insane, yes? To us here in Washington, that is crazy talk. I woke up to an inch of snow this morning, but I guess Portland was covered in like three to four. They closed down I-5 for a period of time, but now it's back open, just to cars with traction or 4-wheel drive.


I still haven't decided if I am wishing for more snow so I can not come in to work tomorrow, or if I am hoping for no snow so I can come in. We'll see how the roads are in the morning. I still have snow at my house (I live up in the hills) which will probably turn into ice by morning, so my car might not even be able to get down the hills...

These shoes are so similar to the other black pointy shoes that I have no idea where I purchased, but they have studs on them! And, I got them from Wal-Mart over a year ago. For like 5 bucks. It's pretty insane, but they are comfy!


My brother tried to ruin the picture by jumping in front of it. He failed! But that is the reason for my expression and my hand sticking out for no reason. Mwahahhaa. I win.

I have been looking for a high waisted pencil skirt for a while now. I was at Ross looking for Christmas gifts for people when I came across this little number... for only $4.99!! It came with a silver belt also (not the one pictured, that was seperate).


You can't really tell from the picture, but the belt has gold studs. It's pretty awesome, I won't lie.


I was feeling down the other day, so I bought myself some new nail polish. It was buy two get one free OPI at Ulta! I got this color I am wearing in the photo, An Affair in Red Square, as well as two others. A holiday color (Don't Toy With Me) and an orangey coral color (Bright Colors Big City, or something like that).


Also, check out the Christmas tree. It's the one at my parents house. Can you tell my dad is a Star Trek/Spiderman fan? Every year, my dad gets us an ornament. My mom gets something Dr. Suess. My brothers changes every year. Dad gets himself something Star Trek or comic books. And I get kittens.

Something felt a little off with this outfit, but I haven't worn this shirt in a long long time, and it's so very Holiday Season I felt like I should bust it out. Complete with the shiny shoes, I was glowing all day.

I had Saturday off (mostly) and had to run some errands. Therefore, it was a casual day! That means JEANS!


These are my most favorite jeans I have EVER bought. They might be a little on the spendy side ($176; okay, a lot on the spendy side!) but I love them. They are soft and feel like they are broken in once you buy them. But they are still fantastic quality and won't fall apart on you like some other jeans. Plus, it makes your behind look fantastic! :D

Well, I've been home a couple days now, but have finally had time to take pictures and all that jazz. I had a wonderful time on my vacation. Spending time with my boy was wonderful. :D I miss him so much already.. urgh. Oh well. I will be with him shortly.


Thanksgiving was a pretty good day. I think I fed myself into a good coma, I'm still tired!

Thanksgiving was pretty much a good day. A nice relaxing day with the family. We had dinner really late, around 8pm. My dad got off work at 5pm, and my brother at 7:30pm. I had about three outfit changes (haha!) total for the day too! And yes, the Rockstar is included in my Thanksgiving day outfit. :)

Numero uno was my "going to the store at 9am" outfits. Pretty easy. Woke up, threw on a hat, my coat, my Ugg's and some jeans.

Numero dos was my "pie making" outfit. Just some sweats and a teeshirt.


Numero tres was my actual Thanksgiving outfit. Just my Hudson's and a tee.

I got the hair cut on Tuesday! Getting it dyed tomorrow by my friend from high school, Katy. Really excited to see what it's going to look like! I am really loving it, it's still long enough that I can put it back or curl it, but it's short enough that it doesn't bug the crap outta me like it has been.


It was warm when I went to work today. But when I was walking to my car after work... whoa, was it cold!

I got this pin as a gift from my regional manager after going through all my trainings and classes. It is a pink bra and panty set with rhinestones all over them and a measuring tape banner that says "100% Fit Certified". I always get so many compliments on it!


I have to explain the pants, they are one of my treasured finds! I got them at Nordstrom rack. The tag said they were originally $178, and there for $55.97. Also, they were on clearance for 40% off. PLUS! My 20% employee discount. So, I paid $26.87 for BCBG Max Azria slacks. Heck yes!

These are the shoes I was talking about yesterday, the uber-cheap ones that boggled my mind by their comfort. They were a grand total of $6.24 plus tax. I wore them all day at work. I am on my feet all day, and with new heels, no matter the brand, I usually have to change shoes mid-shift. I was amazed. I don't think my other pair that I got are going to be as lucky.

I felt mighty foxy today. This dress used to be a 50s style circle skirt/dress with a tulle petticoat underneath and everything. I ripped the tulling out, then took the skirt in to make it a pencil dress! I loved how it turned out!! Everyone else did too!


P.S. I finally got my voice back today. Which means they let me stay at work all day! :)


P.S.S. I know I vowed to never buy cheap shoes just because they were cheap. I ended up walking out of Charlotte Russe today with two pairs of shoes. For $13 total. AND THEY WERE COMFORTABLE. Insane, yes?

I love this dress. Mostly because I was eyeballing it when it was in the store for $78, but I never got around to buying it. Last Nordstrom Employee Shop day (where we get and extra percentage discount woo!) I went down to the Rack and found this gem on sale for $19.97. Came down to a whoppin $12 after all my discounts! It plays to have patience.


Also, it's been a bad head day since I've been sick. So yah, no head Thursday!

I have been out of it lately. Literally. I have been plagued with a nasty, nasty cold. Lost my voice yesterday, so today they sent me home early from work. Even thought it was the first day of our half yearly sale. It's not that great of a sale, I am disappointed. I grabbed a couple pairs of Hanky Panky panties that were already 50% off, plus my 20% discount. And stocked up on our fantastic lingerie soup for the next 6 months til next Half Yearly!


This is the same cardigan as the one I wore with the brown outfit a couple posts back. Only this time, instead of wearing it open, I wrapped it around and used a bangle bracelet as an accessory! It came out pretty cute. Thank you to Jodie (at work)for showing me how!

I am completely in love with these shoes. However, I bought them on a whim at a fairly cheap place. I really, really should have saved up and bought a decent pair. I am good with heels; I am on my feet all day at work and rarely get sore feet from it. Whenever I wear these booties, my feet start to really hurt once I hit hour 6 on my shift. Oh well. They are still mighty cute... :)



The only thing that I don't like about this dress, it kind of gives me that "I look preggo" effect. Pretty lame, I know. I blame the belt.

I have been having this crazy obsession with rain boots lately. I really, really feel like I need a pair. I mean, I live in Washington after, right? It's pretty much a uniform here... right??
