I told you so.

Shirt, Fang
Purple cami, BP by Nordstrom
Jeans, Hudson

Lucky you, you get to see my laundry that needs to be done and my craft-infested coffee table. :)

I have a couple things to post. First, the outfit I wore today. After that, some little goodies I've bought the last couple weeks.

The shirt I am wearing today is something I got at Sears last night. It was the Friends and Family night, we got an extra 20% off on apparel. Josh got some slacks and red plaid shorts for less than $30. I got this shirt for less that $5, and a blue dress for less than $8. I'll try and get a picture of the dress, it's really, really cute. We also got a very exciting new garbage disposal. Yahhh, cool, huh? :)

Also, please ignore my hair. I just got back from a softball game in the freezing cold wind. Stupid New Mexico and your crazy winds...

A couple weeks back, Josh and I had to go to Albuquerque for three days for a high school basketball tournament (for you that don't know, Josh, my main squeeze, is a sports editor for the local paper). I got this AMAZING tee from Buffalo Exchange for $8.50. Heck yah, TRANSFORMERS! :) I was excited. I also got this gorgeous hounds tooth trench for $8.50. It was $17, and on the extra 50% clearance rack. I love it, it's exactly what I've been looking for. Pictures of that later, when I wear it.

Long time, no blog.

I will have an outfit post tonight. Promise. Cross my heart. I would say hope to die, but I don't wanna do that. :)

I don't want to give excuses but there has been lots of things contributing to my non-blogging the last month. One reason, I have been sick on and off this month. I think I've had two colds/stomach issues, allergies, and even a stye in my left eye. No fun! But I'm finally feeling better and healthy, yay! Another reason, I'm still at the same job, were we have clothes guidelines. It's lame, but I have days off too, so that should not be a reason to not post what I wear on those days.

So here I am, telling you the reader, that I am going to change and AT LEAST post 3 times a week. I PROMISE! If I don't feel free to message me with reminders. :) And like I said, I will have an outfit post tonight. I'm still in sweats and a tank right now. Yahhh, I'm lazy, whateva. :)

February 28th, 2009

My last outfit that I failed to post in a timely manner! Oh well, it's here, right? And that is what counts! :) I wore this outfit to another basketball game with Josh.

Cami, BP by Nordstrom
Cardigan, something from Nordstrom, I don't remember the brand
Scarf, yet again, BP by Nordstrom
Jeans, Hudson
Shoes, Sigerson Morrison at Target

This was a fun outfit. I really felt comfortable and cute in it! Especially with the scarf and shoes matching together so perfectly! And the big ol' rhinestones on the shoes... One of my faves for sure!

As a side note, please ignore all the nasty mess in the back ground! It looks a lot messier than it is. :)

February 27th, 2009

Another missed day.

February 27th, 2009.

Again, with the no shoes! But I did wear shoes during the day, I just took them off when I got home.

Cami, BP by Nordstrom
Shirt, Flounce
Cardigan, BP by Nordstrom
Jeans, Hudson
Shoes (not pictured), white sandals from Khols

I wore the cardigan most of the day, because Josh and I went out to dinner and went to a basketball game. However, the shirt has some really cute details on the sleeves. Of course, I failed to take a picture, but they are ruffles with rhinestones and sequins all over. Very cute! :)

Outfits I have missed!

I am posting a couple outfits that I haven't been able to post due to not having my computer. I finally figured out how to upload things on Josh's computer, and actually find them again!

Valentine's day!

Do you like the no shoes? I have a pair of black peep-toe sling backs that I was going to wear, but I made dinner and we ate it at our coffee table, so there was no need for shoes!

Dress, altered by me. I've had the dress for about 7 years, it was a 50s style skirt with tulle underneath. Jewelry, from Ross

Close up of makeup and hair. :) And a great picture of the puppy attacking my face.

Febuary 20th 2009

Before I got struck with food poisoning, this is what I wore that day. Josh took me to a basketball game that he was working at about 30 miles away, so it was a fun little date night. We also went out for lunch before hand (although, pretty sure that is the culprit for the poisoning...). It was fun day til the bad times, haha!

MIA

I swear, I am still here! I haven't died or anything. It has been a tough week. Last week I had a cold all week, then I got food poisoning and was pretty much dying for about two days... it was awful! Bleh. I'm finally getting back in the swing of things.

It's been ridiculously warm this week. In the low 80s or high 70s all week. No joke, it was 85 yesterday and supposed to get that warm today too. At 11:30am, it was already 75. I looked at the weather.com forecast for Columbus.. 35 degrees. And I want to move back there? Hrmmm. I am going to miss the shorts and tank top in Febuary.

I have pictures on my camera from Valentine's day that I need to upload. Also, I need to re-creat a couple of polyvore outfits that I wore this last week, before I got the food poisoning. Expect those today!! :)

Go Rooks.

Here I am sitting at home with my puppy at my lap, drinking a Rockstar and watching the Rookie vs. Sophomore All-Star NBA game. Have to root for the Rookies, because Greg Oden (from THE Ohio State University! AND from my hometown Blazers!!) and Rudy Fernandez are both on the team!

Today was an easy day. I woke up early for my 2nd interview then lazed around the house til about 4:30, when I finally went into town to get somethings for V-day (I won't tell you what til later, the boyfriend reads this!)

**I wore the purple cami under the brown. My brown tank is different, it has cream sequins around the neckline, and the skirt is cream. The shoes are also brown, and the same ones I wore for date night the other day.

Brown tank, thrifted - originally from Wet Seal
Skirt, Fred Meyers and altered (was a size bigger)
Shoes, American Eagle
Blue cardigan, unknown from Ross
Handbag, Coach, 2006 scribble collection
Nails and toes, OPI An Affair at Red Square

I'm going to try and post real pictures for tomorrows outfit. I'm still working on the boys comptuer, so hopefully it'll work!

Oh me, Oh my.

I want to apologize for the horrible lack of posting.  Looks like my lap top is pretty dead until I can afford to take it to the computer repair people... as of right now, I am using the boyfriends computer while he's off to work.  It's weird to not be on my computer since all my junk is there, and because he is a Mac guy, and I have a PC.  Oh well.

Either way, since I don't have my photos from my computer, here is a wonderful Polyvore recreation of what I wore last night to date night with Josh.  We went to see He's Just Not That Into You and then to dinner and drinks.

I have a feeling I will be using these for a while ;)

Michelle Obama outfit challenge

Scarf & cami, BP by Nordstrom
Pencil skirt, from Ross
Flower brooch, Forever 21
Shoes, Sigerson Morrison from Target
Pearls, thrifted

The wonderful gals over at Thrifty Muse has made today "Michelle Obama style tribute". Here is my outfit! What do you think? There are some closeups of everything below, as well as some of the inspiration pieces from Mrs. Obama.

Pardon my head being chopped off, I had the look of death on my face because the dog was about to knock over the camera.. Urgh!

For my outfit, I really had the inspiration from the beautiful jewel tones that Mrs. Obama wears and loves, as well as the brooches she wears. The pearls, always a classy statement, plus with my own style, I layered suckers up! As for the flats, we all know that Michelle Obama is 5'11" and loves her flats.
